Master class at Buffalo Suzuki Strings, April 2005

A sought after teacher and clinician, Matthew Ardizzone has presented his workshops and master classes at schools throughout the country, including the Cleveland Institute of Music, Eastern Michigan University, Ball State University, Houston Baptist University, Brooklyn College, and Buffalo Suzuki Strings.  At the 2007 ASTA National Conference in Detroit, he unveiled his memorization workshop titled “Total Recall: Harnessing the Power of the Mind to Enjoy Playing by Heart.”  His private and collegiate students have gone on to study in graduate and undergraduate guitar programs at Ithaca College, the Eastman School of Music, the University of Akron, and others. 

Dr. Ardizzone is available for private lessons on a limited basis, and works with students who are preparing for collegiate auditions, competitions, and recitals, and who are in need of strengthening technical foundations.  Lessons are available in 5-10 week sessions.  Contact Matthew via email for more information.
