Chamber music plays a major role in Matthew’s musical life. In Ann Arbor, he is active in the city’s vibrant musical community, collaborating with Envision Chamber Consort, Chamber Music Ann Arbor, Chamber Music at the Scarab Club, the Phoenix Ensemble, and members of the faculty of the U-M School of Music. A founding member of the Finger Lakes Guitar Quartet and Duo Nouveau (with saxophonist Matthew Sintchak), Matthew has also performed with flutists Leone Buyse, Wendy Mehne, and Nina Assimakoupolous, violinist Yehonatan Berick, violists Csaba Erdélyi and Yizhak Schotten, and many others.
